Welcome to the American Association of Certified Christian Sexual Addiction Specialists.  Sexual addiction and compulsivity continue to impact the church and the world in which we live.  The need for trained clinicians and church leaders has never been greater.  Our goal is to provide recognition for those clinicians and church leaders who who demonstrate a standard of excellence in training, education, and practice.  Our vision is to create a body of competent Christian counselors worldwide and that they will have a transforming impact on culture.  Clinicians who are certified by AACCSAS will have received training, education, and supervision in treating sexual addiction.  AACCSAS is committed to supporting training opportunities and to conducting research in the field of sexual addiction.  I'm honored to be a part of a cutting edge organization that is committed to providing standards of excellence in the Christian community.

American Association of Christian Counselors

Recently the certification board voted unanimously NOT to sell or affiliate with the American Association of Christian Counselors at this time.  There has been some confusion created by AACC’s decision to market a “certificate of training” for lay counselors based on the purchase of a video series.  These videos do NOT meet any of our requirements for certification.  This was done without the knowledge of anyone in our organization.  Since our beginning, we have strived to maintain a high standard for clinical and pastoral certification.  We do not intend to affiliate with any organization that compromises the standards that have been set.   We are very grateful for AACC and continue to support them as an organization.  If there are questions or concerns, please call or email at the location listed above.
